Stones in His Pockets

A rural Irish village is turned on its head by the arrival of a film crew from the United States. When Charlie Conlon and Jake Quinn are cast as extras in the film, they realize that Hollywood's romanticized Ireland stands in stark contrast to the reality of their day-to-day lives.
Stones in His Pockets features two actors playing all fifteen characters, and won London's Olivier Award for Best Comedy in 2001.

Anna, owner of a dilapidated roller skating rink on the boardwalk of a decaying seaside resort, has decided to sell it to developers. Complicating her plan is Angel, her prodigal daughter, who returns to the rink to reconnect with the people and places she left behind long ago. Through a series of flashbacks and revelations, Anna and Angel deal with their pasts in an attempt to reconcile and move on with their lives.
