Ghost Tour
an original DalekoArts walking tour
sponsored by Mayo Clinic Health System
and Toby & Nicole Thietje
The dark streets and winding back alleys of New Prague, Minnesota have been known for centuries to be some of world's most haunted. Now, thanks to a generous grant from GRANT (Ghost Research And Naturalization Trust), we'll explore the local stories that have given us the heebie-jeebies for generations.
This 70-minute comedic walking tour will take DA patrons through New Prague's downtown, starting and finishing at the Prague Theater. Who will we encounter along the way? It's anyone's guess.

by Joseph Scrimshaw

From Twin Cities native Joseph Scrimshaw, Adventures in Mating: Holiday Edition is a romantic comedy where YOU play the role of cruel fate! When the dysfunctional couple on a terrible blind date can't make simple decisions such as red or white wine, leave or stay, kiss or slap, the audience votes and the show takes off in wildly different but always hilarious directions.

Ada and the Engine
by Lauren Gunderson
directed by Amanda White
sponsored by German Days, Inc.
As the British Industrial Revolution dawns, young Ada Byron Lovelace (daughter of the flamboyant and notorious Lord Byron) sees the boundless creative potential in the "analytic engines" of her friend and soul mate Charles Babbage, inventor of the first mechanical computer. Ada envisions a whole new world where art and information converge—a world she might not live to see. A music-laced story of love, friendship, and the edgiest dreams of the future. Jane Austen meets Steve Jobs in the Minnesota premiere of this poignant pre-tech romance.

An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box. The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a delightful den of comedic genius.
